Anubias barteri var. nana
Origin: West Africa (captive-bred)
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Petite' is the smallest commercially available Anubias variety, with leaves rarely exceeding 2 cm. It attaches to hardscape like all Anubias and tolerates very low light. The tiny size makes it ideal for nano aquariums and for creating miniaturised landscapes on rock surfaces. Tissue culture cups are pest-free and algae-free. Slow grower — but practically immortal once established.
Light: very low to medium. Do NOT bury rhizome. Attach to rock/wood. CO2 not required. Temperature: 20–30°C. TC: pest-free. Excellent nano/betta tank plant.
