Aponogeton ulvaceus is one of the most spectacular background plants available — large, translucent pale green leaves with attractive wavy margins. Grows from a bulb and can reach 60+ cm. Does not require CO2. Rest period needed every 6–8 months.
Care Guide
Medium light. Root tabs beneficial. Temperature 22–28°C, pH 6.5–7.5. Grows large — only for tanks 100 L+. Dormant bulb requires 6–8 week dry rest. Returns vigorously after rest period.
