Bucephalandra 'Brownie Purple' TC

Bucephalandra 'Brownie Purple' is a cultivar from the diverse Bucephalandra genus endemic to Borneo. It features small, oval leaves with a deep purple-brown to bronze colour and an iridescent metallic sheen under certain lighting. Supplied as tissue culture (TC) for algae-free, pathogen-free guaranteed plants.

Attach to hardscape via rhizome — do not bury. Low to moderate light (Buce is shade-tolerant). CO2 improves growth but not required. Soft water preferred. Rinse TC plants from agar gel before planting. Grows slowly — one of the most patient but rewarding plants in the hobby.
