Bucephalandra sp.
Origin: Borneo
Bucephalandra sp. 'Green Wavy' is a slow-growing rheophyte from the fast-flowing streams of Borneo. Its thick, wavy-edged dark green leaves bear iridescent blue-green spots when illuminated from above — a striking visual effect. Like all Bucephalandra it attaches to hardscape (rock or driftwood) and grows best in medium to high flow. It is an epiphyte, never to be buried in substrate. A stunning choice for the midground or foreground of planted tanks.
Light: low-medium. Flow: medium-high. Attach to rock/wood — do not bury in substrate. CO2 beneficial but not required. Temperature: 22–28°C. Slow grower — patience required.
