Bucephalandra sp.
Origin: Borneo (Sarawak, Kapit)
A highly prized Bucephalandra from the Kapit district of Sarawak, Borneo, featuring dark green to teal leaves with a subtle iridescent sheen and attractively wavy margins. New leaves often emerge with a reddish to purplish tint that matures to deep green. An epiphytic rheophyte that grows best attached to rocks or driftwood.
Attach rhizome to hardscape in low light and moderate flow. CO2 not required but speeds growth. Weekly liquid micro fertiliser. Very slow grower. Propagate by rhizome division. Particularly beautiful when mounted in groups on a single piece of driftwood at different heights. Wavy margins are most pronounced in mature leaves.
