Bucephalandra sp.
Origin: Borneo (Kalimantan, Lamandau river)
A miniature Bucephalandra from the Lamandau river region, prized for its extremely compact growth habit and tiny rounded leaves with dark green colour and subtle blue iridescence. Perfect for nano aquariums and detailed iwagumi layouts, it creates fine detail and texture that larger plants cannot achieve. Attaches readily to rock and wood surfaces.
Attach rhizome to small stones, fine driftwood, or aquarium mesh. Low light is ideal. No CO2 required. Feed with liquid micro fertiliser weekly. Perfect for nano tanks and foreground detail work. Due to its tiny size, even single specimens can be very effective visual anchors in minimalist layouts. Propagate by careful rhizome division.
