Bucephalandra sp. 'Mini Catherine'

'Mini Catherine' is a petite and highly collectible Bucephalandra variety with tiny rounded leaves just 1–2 cm in diameter and a striking blue-green iridescence that intensifies under moderate aquarium lighting. Its compact size makes it ideal for nano aquariums and fine detail in larger aquascape compositions. A slow-growing epiphyte best attached to small stones or fine driftwood.

Attach rhizome to very fine hardscape. Low light — CO2 recommended for improved growth rate. Liquid micro fertiliser weekly. One of the smallest Bucephalandra varieties; a single piece can take months to noticeably grow. Propagate by rhizome division only when mature. Handle carefully — small rhizomes dry out quickly during aquascaping.
