Bucephalandra sp. 'Wavy Green'

Bucephalandra 'Wavy Green' is distinguished by its deeply wavy ruffled leaf margins that create a dynamic flowing appearance. Leaves are a rich medium to dark green with a subtle sheen and characteristic tiny white spots often seen on Bucephalandra species. Its attractive ruffled form makes it one of the more recognisable varieties.

Attach rhizome to hardscape in low light. No CO2 required — a very forgiving species. Liquid micro fertiliser once per week benefits growth. One of the easier Bucephalandra to maintain; a good entry point to the genus. Wavy margins are more pronounced in older established leaves. Propagate by rhizome division.
