Cabomba caroliniana is a classic aquarium plant with fan-like whorls of finely divided bright-green leaves. A popular and easy stem plant for beginners. Provides excellent cover for fry and small fish. Also used as an egg-laying substrate for egg-scattering fish.
Medium light. CO2 improves growth speed. pH 6.0–7.5. Plant in groups. Grows fast under medium or high light. Easy and forgiving. Note: does NOT tolerate brackish water or hard water well. One of the best plants for spawning tanks.
