Christmas Moss (Vesicularia montagnei)

Christmas Moss (Vesicularia montagnei) is a beautiful aquatic moss with characteristic horizontally branching fronds that closely resemble miniature Christmas trees. It grows well attached to driftwood or rock walls in Nature Aquarium-style layouts and provides excellent micro-habitat for shrimp and small fish fry. Growth is moderate and it is one of the more visually distinctive mosses in the planted tank hobby.

Attach to driftwood or rock using thread or glue. No CO2 or substrate required. Grow under low to medium lighting for compact, dense growth. Trim regularly to maintain the characteristic tree-like shape. Excellent for shrimp-focused planted tanks and nano aquascapes.
