Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green' is widely regarded as one of the best beginner's aquarium plants available, offering all the robustness and adaptability of the wendtii species in a refreshing bright to olive-green palette. Its broad, hammered-textured leaves form dense, spreading clumps that are excellent for softening aquascape lines and providing cover for bottom-dwelling fish and shrimp. It tolerates an exceptional range of water conditions and requires almost no specialist care to thrive.

Light: Low to medium; one of the most light-tolerant Crypt varieties. CO2: Not required; suitable for completely low-tech, non-CO2 aquariums. Substrate: Nutrient-rich substrate or root tabs; grows in sand with root tabs alone. Planting: Expose crown; group plant in clusters of 5+ for a dense, natural look.
