Cryptocoryne x willisii 'Nevillii'

Cryptocoryne x willisii 'Nevillii' (often sold as C. nevillii) is a small, dense-forming Sri Lankan hybrid with narrow, bright to mid-green leaves that create a lush, grass-like carpet effect over time through runner propagation. It is exceptionally hardy and beginner-friendly, thriving under low light without CO2 supplementation. One of the best low-maintenance foreground plants for community tanks.

Plant individual crowns in substrate spaced 2–3 cm apart. Spreads naturally by runners to fill the foreground without trimming. No CO2 or high lighting required. Tolerates most tap water conditions. Growth is slow but reliable — allow 2–3 months for a full carpet. Compatible with all fish and invertebrates.
