Dennerle's tissue culture Ludwigia arcuata is one of the most intensely red stem plants available, bearing needle-thin leaves that blush deep crimson red under high light and CO2. Its fine needle-leaf texture contrasts beautifully with broad-leaved plants, making it a prized red accent in Dutch and Nature Aquarium layouts. Regular trimming and top replanting maintain dense, colorful growth.

Requires high light intensity and pressurized CO2 injection for best red coloration. Plant in a nutrient-rich substrate with iron supplementation. Trim tops and replant regularly to prevent lower leaf loss and maintain density. Without high light and CO2, leaves will remain greenish.
