Didiplis diandra
Origin: North America
Didiplis diandra is a rare and delicate North American stem plant featuring extremely fine, needle-like leaves arranged in opposite pairs that create a feathery, grass-like texture unique in the planted tank hobby. Under high light with CO2 it develops beautiful red-orange tips, making it a prized accent plant in high-tech aquascapes. This tissue culture form guarantees pest-free and algae-free planting.
Remove all sterile gel and rinse before planting. Requires high light intensity and pressurized CO2 injection — without these, growth is minimal and red coloration will not develop. Plant in iron-rich substrate or add iron-rich fertilizer for best tip coloration. Trim tops and replant regularly to maintain density. Advanced care plant best suited to established high-tech setups.
