Echinodorus bleheri Amazon Sword

Echinodorus bleheri, the Amazon Sword, is one of the most popular and iconic aquarium plants worldwide. This large rosette plant produces broad, bright-green lance-shaped leaves and makes a stunning centrepiece for medium to large aquariums. Very adaptable to a wide range of water conditions and lighting levels.

Plant in nutrient-rich substrate — root tabs are highly beneficial. Requires moderate lighting. Grows large; allow at least 30–40 cm of height. Feed via root tabs as heavy root feeder. Propagate via adventitious plantlets on flower stalks. Hardy and tolerant of a wide range of conditions.
