Echinodorus Red Flame

Echinodorus 'Red Flame' is a hybrid Echinodorus cultivar selected for intense red colouration in new leaves. Emerging leaves are vivid cherry red to dark burgundy, maturing to a deep green-red. The rosette growth pattern makes it a natural centrepiece plant. Under high light and good iron fertilisation the red colouration is exceptional. A robust, fast-growing variety suited to a wide range of water conditions.

Light: medium-high. Iron-rich substrate and fertiliser for best red colouration. CO2 beneficial. Temperature: 22–28°C. Robust and adaptable. Red intensity highest under strong light.
