Eriocaulon sp.
Origin: Brazil
Eriocaulon sp. 'Goias' from Goias state, Brazil is a compact, grass-like aquatic plant producing stiff, narrow leaves in tight rosettes from 8–15 cm diameter. The translucent, light green blades have a crystalline appearance under bright light, creating an otherworldly aquascape element. Eriocaulon species are demanding high-tech plants requiring CO2 injection, bright light, and soft, very nutrient-rich water. They reward skilled keepers with extraordinary architectural beauty.
CO2 injection required. Bright light (50+ µmol). Soft acidic water (pH 5.5–7.0). Nutrient-rich substrate. Temperature: 22–28°C. Demanding — for high-tech planted tanks only.
