Ludwigia repens

Ludwigia repens is one of the easiest red stem plants available, capable of producing vivid red undersides and red-green topside leaves even under low to medium light. One of the few red plants that works reasonably well without CO2. Highly adaptable and fast-growing.

Low to medium light (red intensifies with high light). CO2 not required but improves growth. pH 5.5–8.0. Very adaptable. Plant in groups of 5+ stems in midground or background. Trim when reaching surface — cuttings replant easily.
