Micranthemum sp. 'Monte Carlo'

Micranthemum sp. 'Monte Carlo' produces a dense, lush mat of small, round, bright-green leaves resembling a natural meadow floor. Significantly easier to grow than Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba', it tolerates moderate lighting and less precise CO2 control. An excellent choice for creating carpet effects in both beginner and advanced aquascapes.

Plant individual stems 2–3 cm apart in fine substrate. Benefits from CO2 supplementation and medium lighting for a dense carpet. Spreads via runners across the substrate. Trim periodically to maintain a low, dense carpet. Compatible with all fish and invertebrates. A more forgiving alternative to HC Cuba.
