Microsorum pteropus 'Banana Leaf' is a cultivated Java Fern variety featuring unusually wide, paddle-shaped fronds with a deeply rippled texture that resembles a miniature banana leaf. Grows attached to hardscape and tolerates low light and soft or hard water. The bold, sculptural leaf shape makes it a standout midground or background specimen in any aquascape.

Attach rhizome to driftwood or rock — never bury in substrate. Thrives under low to medium light without CO2. Grows slowly. Feed with liquid fertilizers occasionally. Propagates from plantlets forming on leaf edges.
