Microsorum pteropus 'Latifolium'

Microsorum pteropus 'Latifolium' is the broad-leaf Java Fern variant, producing wide, dark-green fronds that give a lush, tropical feel to any aquascape. One of the faster-growing Java Fern cultivars, it quickly establishes coverage on hardscape elements. Its wide leaves provide excellent cover and grazing surfaces for shrimp and small fish.

Attach rhizome to driftwood or rock — never bury in substrate. Tolerates low light well but grows faster with medium light. No CO2 required. Apply liquid fertilizers occasionally. Faster-spreading than many other Java Fern cultivars.
