Microsorum pteropus Windelov

Microsorum pteropus 'Windelov' — the lace java fern — has distinctive finely branched, lacy frond tips that create an intricate texture. It was one of the earliest cultivated Java fern varieties and remains a perennial classic. Like all Microsorum it requires no CO2 and tolerates nearly any light level. Attaches firmly to driftwood and rock over time. An excellent choice for low-tech, Walstad, or African biotope setups.

Light: very low to medium. No CO2. Attach to hardscape — do not bury rhizome. Temperature: 18–30°C. Classic, reliable low-light plant.
