Mini Taiwan Moss

Mini Taiwan Moss is a compact variant of Taxiphyllum alternans selected for its smaller frond size and denser growth habit. It grows in tight, layered cushions that are perfectly proportioned for nano tanks and small-scale nature aquascapes. Like its parent species it is easy to care for, tolerating a wide range of water conditions and growing well without CO2 injection.

Light: low to medium light; consistent lighting promotes even, dense cushion formation. CO2: not required; CO2 enhances density and frond size slightly. Attachment: secure to hardscape with fine thread or a small amount of superglue gel. Trimming: trim lightly to maintain a compact, rounded form; avoid cutting too deep. Growth: slow; propagate by dividing cushions into smaller portions.
