Nymphaea lotus Red Tiger Lotus Bulb

Nymphaea lotus 'Red' (Red Tiger Lotus) is a spectacular bulb plant from Africa featuring large, deeply mottled red-and-green leaves. It can grow surface lily pads (which should be regularly trimmed to keep light reaching lower plants) or be kept as a submerged plant. A bold centrepiece in medium to large aquariums.

Place bulb on substrate — do not bury fully. Roots will anchor naturally. Remove floating leaves regularly to redirect energy into submerged growth. High light intensifies red colouration. Root tabs beneficial. Under low light, leaves remain smaller and more greenish. Use the provided bulb within a few days of purchase.
