Pellia (Monosolenium tenerum)

Monosolenium tenerum (Pellia) is a liverwort frequently sold as a moss, forming dense, dark-green, rounded lobed cushions on any surface it rests on. Its compact, rounded growth habit creates a distinctive and lush appearance in both foreground and midground positions. One of the lowest-light tolerant aquatic plants available—no CO2 required—making it ideal for low-tech planted aquariums.

Place or attach to hardscape. No CO2 required. Tolerates very low light, making it ideal for low-tech tanks. Trim as needed to maintain compact form. Propagate by dividing and placing individual sections.
