Persicaria sp. 'Kawagoeanum'

Persicaria sp. 'Kawagoeanum' is a distinctive aquatic Persicaria recognised for its narrow, lance-shaped leaves bearing subtle yet attractive dark patterning on bright green upper surfaces, similar to the markings seen on some terrestrial knotweed species. In the aquarium it grows upright at a moderate pace and adapts well to a range of water parameters, making it accessible to hobbyists with basic planted tank experience. The attractive leaf patterning provides a naturalistic, forest-floor quality to midground plantings and pairs particularly well with driftwood-based hardscape in nature and biotope aquascapes.
