Under high lighting with CO2, the leaves develop beautiful pink to reddish hues from the underside, while the top remains green. It is moderately demanding, requiring consistent CO2 and fertilisation. A stunning midground to background stem plant for high-tech Nature aquascapes.
Light: high. CO2 injection. Iron-rich fertiliser. pH 5.5–7.0. Temperature: 22–28°C. Whorled leaf arrangement is distinctive in planted displays.
