Riccardia chamedryfolia
Origin: Worldwide (cosmopolitan)
Riccardia chamedryfolia (Mini Pellia or Coral Moss) is a small liverwort with a branching, antler-like structure that creates a dense, three-dimensional cushion of dark green growth when tied or glued to hardscape. It grows slowly but steadily under low to medium light and adds a unique, sculptural quality to rocks and driftwood in nano aquascapes. CO2 encourages slightly faster, lusher growth.
Attach to rock or driftwood with thread or aquatic glue; do not bury rhizoids in substrate. Low to medium light. pH 6.0–7.5, temperature 20–28°C, GH 1–15, KH 0–8. CO2 beneficial but not essential. Very slow grower; allow months to establish a full cushion. Compatible with all fish and invertebrates. Trim with scissors when overgrown.
