Rotala rotundifolia Pink Stem Plant

Rotala rotundifolia is a delicate stem plant with small, rounded pink-to-red leaves that wave gracefully in moderate flow. One of the most used plants in Dutch and Nature-style aquascapes. Growth rate is moderate to fast, and the pink hues intensify with higher light and CO2 supplementation.

Plant densely in groups to create a full, bushy effect. Trim top 10–15 cm regularly and replant cuttings. Responds well to CO2 injection and balanced fertilisation. Under low-tech conditions, leaves remain smaller and more olive-green. Avoid excessive shading from taller plants.
