Tropica 1-2-Grow Egeria densa

Egeria densa is one of the most vigorous and fast-growing oxygenating aquatic plants, with dense whorls of bright green leaves along long, branching stems. Its rapid nutrient uptake makes it one of the best natural competitors against algae, and it provides excellent cover for fry and spawning fish. Supplied as a Tropica 1-2-Grow tissue culture cup with approximately 25 sterile plantlets.

Rinse tissue culture gel and plant individual stems in substrate or allow to float freely. No CO2 required but responds well to it. Medium lighting is sufficient. Grows rapidly — trim regularly to prevent it from shading other plants. Plant in groups of 5–7 stems for maximum visual impact. Hardy in a wide temperature range including cool-water setups.
