Tropica 1-2-Grow Eleocharis acicularis 'Mini'

Eleocharis acicularis 'Mini' is a miniature form of hair grass that forms a delicate, low-growing carpet of fine, bright green blades across the substrate. It stays noticeably shorter than the standard E. acicularis and spreads readily via thin runners, creating a natural lawn effect in the foreground. Supplied as a Tropica 1-2-Grow tissue culture cup with approximately 25 sterile plantlets.

Rinse tissue culture gel and plant small bunches 1–2 cm apart across the substrate. CO2 injection and medium to high lighting significantly accelerate carpeting. Nutrient-rich substrate or root tabs support runner production. Without CO2 growth is slow but still achievable under good lighting. Trim occasionally with sharp scissors to maintain desired height. Excellent for shrimp tanks due to tissue culture sterility.
