Tropica 1-2-Grow Glossostigma elatinoides TC

Glossostigma elatinoides is one of the original carpet plants used in Nature Aquarium and Iwagumi layouts. Small, spoon-shaped bright-green leaves form a low, dense carpet. One of the most light-demanding carpet plants. Tissue culture form from Tropica is pest-free.

Very high light required. CO2 injection mandatory for carpeting growth. pH 5.5–7.5. Plant tiny individual nodes 1 cm apart. Will run sideways and form carpet over 6–12 weeks. Under insufficient light, grows upright. Not suitable for low-tech setups.
