Tropica 1-2-Grow Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini'

Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact cultivar of the cardinal flower, featuring rounded leaves in bright green with attractive purplish-red undersides that add depth to planted layouts. It stays noticeably smaller than the standard Lobelia cardinalis, making it ideal for midground placement in aquascapes of all sizes. Supplied as a Tropica 1-2-Grow tissue culture cup with approximately 25 sterile, algae-free plantlets.

Plant individual stems in substrate. CO2 and medium to high lighting bring out the best contrast between the green upper and purple lower leaf surfaces. Trim tops and replant regularly to maintain compact, bushy growth. Feed with comprehensive liquid fertilizer for healthy coloration. Tolerates a range of water conditions and grows reasonably well even without CO2 under good lighting.
