Tropica 1-2-Grow Monosolenium tenerum

Monosolenium tenerum is a unique liverwort from Asia with flat, thalloid fronds in a rich dark green color that resemble a miniature aquatic leafy or mossy carpet. Unlike true mosses it cannot be divided into individual leaves, but pieces break apart easily and can be attached to rocks or driftwood with fishing line, creating unusual low-profile textures. Slow-growing and completely undemanding. Supplied as a Tropica 1-2-Grow tissue culture cup with approximately 25 clean plantlets.

Attach pieces to hardscape with thin fishing line or place loosely on the substrate. No CO2 or high lighting required — thrives in truly low-light setups. Grows very slowly. Rinse tissue culture gel from plantlets. Propagate by dividing existing pieces. Tends to become a natural resting and foraging surface for bottom-dwelling shrimp and fish.
