Tropica Pot Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Red'

Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Red' is a striking cultivar with broad, heavily textured leaves ranging from olive-green to deep reddish-brown, adding warmth and earthy depth to planted layouts. Like all C. wendtii varieties, it is highly adaptable to a wide range of water conditions and excels in low-light, low-tech community aquariums. Supplied in a Tropica pot with a well-rooted, established plant.

Plant in substrate with the rhizome at soil level — do not bury completely. No CO2 or high lighting required. Allow 4–8 weeks for full establishment; some initial leaf melt is normal before new aquatic leaves emerge. Monthly root tabs or liquid fertilizer supports steady growth. Propagates via daughter plants on runners. Darker, redder coloration develops under higher light.
