Egeria densa is a vigorous and easy-to-grow oxygenating plant from South America with dense whorls of bright green leaves along long, freely branching stems that grow quickly under most conditions. Highly effective at outcompeting algae through rapid nutrient uptake from the water column, it is a reliable natural algae fighter and cover provider for community and breeding tanks. Supplied in a Tropica pot.

Plant stems in substrate or allow to float. No CO2 required. Medium lighting is sufficient. Grows very rapidly — trim regularly to prevent shading other plants. Group of 5+ stems for visual impact. Suitable for cold-water setups as well as tropical tanks. One of the most forgiving oxygenating plants available.
