Hygrophila corymbosa
Origin: Southeast Asia
Hygrophila corymbosa is a robust and fast-growing stem plant from Asia with large, broad lance-shaped leaves in bright green that quickly fill background spaces with lush, tropical-looking foliage. One of the easiest stem plants to grow in the hobby, it thrives under a wide range of conditions without CO2 and provides excellent cover for fish and shrimp. Supplied as a healthy, potted Tropica plant ready for immediate planting.
Plant individual stems in substrate. No CO2 required; grows readily under medium lighting. Trim tops regularly and replant cut stems to create a bushy, dense background. Fertilize monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Grows quickly — monitor and trim to prevent shading lower-level plants. One of the most forgiving and rewarding stem plants for beginners.
