Calico Crayfish (Orconectes immunis)

Orconectes immunis, the calico crayfish, is a medium-sized North American freshwater crayfish with a mottled brown-green patterned carapace and robust build, native to river systems across the central United States. It is a resilient and active species suitable for species tanks or large community setups with robust fish. As with all crayfish, it can be territorial and may damage plants.
