Cambarellus shufeldtii — Cajun Dwarf Crayfish

Cambarellus shufeldtii, the Cajun dwarf crayfish, is a diminutive species native to the Gulf Coast states of the USA, characterised by its compact size and attractive brown-reddish patterned carapace with darker longitudinal stripes. Its small size makes it one of the few crayfish species genuinely suitable for planted community aquariums with appropriate tank mates. An active and curious animal that explores every corner of its territory.
