About
The flower shrimp, also known as the Molucca fan shrimp, is a large, impressive freshwater filter-feeding shrimp from Southeast Asian streams that uses specialised feathered fan appendages to capture suspended food particles from the water current. It can display vibrant colour forms ranging from pale cream to vivid orange and blue depending on mood and conditions. Requires a moderate current flow and supplemental phytoplankton dosing to thrive.
