About
Lamprologus ocellatus 'Gold' displays iridescent gold-blue scaling and is one of the most attractive shell dwellers. Males can be remarkably bold and will defend their shell furiously against much larger fish.
Care Guide
pH 7.8–8.5, temp 24–26°C, hard alkaline water. Provide 2–3 snail shells per fish. Will breed readily in captivity. Sandy substrate at least 5cm deep.
